Capel Path Rangers are a group of volunteers with a keen interest in maintaining and improving the public rights of way in the parish of Capel in Kent. Whilst we are primarily a social organization, we are recognized as a volunteer group by the Public Rights of Way section of Kent County Council who actively support our endeavours. Capel Path Rangers would like to thank all the walkers who have e-mailed them with their appreciation of the path maintenance work done by CPR.

Organized Walk

Sunday 1st January, 2012, "Two Churches Walk". Meet at 2:30 pm, at St. Thomas à Beckett Church, Alders Road, Capel, Tonbridge, TN12 6SX.

Fungi Fun

The 2010 Fungi Fun walk organized by Capel Path Rangers as part of their organized walks programme identified over thirty different fungi and slime moulds growing in the parish. One of the more colourful, Fuligo septica, is pictured below. Many more can be seen in our Photo Gallery.
